Auto Credit Based on THELOWofJAY's Chinook v2

**Medium to high graphics required on PC/Mac, will not work on low with mobile devices. **
**To fly, hit detatcher 1(propeller)and throttle up to 60%, then detatcher 2(base) and pitch back until it levels out.55% throttle is neutral elevation**

Controls are like a helicopter: Throttle up and down for elevation, pitch forward and back for forward and backward flight, yaw to rotate. Sometimes the rotors get stuck, if you slide the VTOLs up and down it fixes it. The propeller is a bit buggy but once you get the hang of its kinda like turbulence. Just have to roll with it. Its very difficult to handle but once you master it it is a blast, I love flying and landing it on things. Try the U.S.S. tiny, I did it and it was very challenging. VTOLs slightly forward and backwards provides thrust while taxiing down the runway. Let me know what you think, I know it has kinks to work out. May the force be with you.

How do you make it not spin in circles when you lift off the platform?

@TheLatentImage, thanks i really appreciate the rating. The Apache is hands down my favorite, so i had to make it the best i could. Sad tho the update makes it fly a lot worst than it already does. Hopefully in a newer update helicopters parts will make it in. Only dual rotor helis work now, which is why i built the chinook. Everything else spins out of control.

This is fricken amazing! The Apache is one of my favorite attack helicopters. You have done a very good job recreating it. I am able to fly it on my mobile with the lowest possible settings. I appreciate the work you've put into this.

@AgDynamics, its nice to hear about others flying it. You should try out the Pave Low Mk. II I just posted, its slower and more tame than the wild Apache. Gets pretty crazy at full 100% but it cruises at 78-81% just fine. I love landing it on the ships now, just takes forever to fly to them.

@WeeBabySeamus I flew it on a low-spec PC and it ran just fine. Got it in the air and just kinda puttered around the mountains to the left of the runway. Eventually built up too much momentum and entered a kind of 'tank slapper' from RCN maneuvering, rolled hard left and crashed sideways into the mountain. But that's really just because I was screwing around with it.

@CmdrAlex, thanks for the rating and comments. Its nice to hear someone else is flying it, especially on an iphone! Ive tried it on my iphone and compared to my PC with a joystick, its alot harder to handle. The propeller getting stuck is rolling the dice, sometimes its great and others its horrible. I get lucky sometimes by sliding the VTOL slider up and it frees it. Just hopefully its at high altitude because it will roll like crazy. Ive got a pave low rolling out soon that has turned out looking like the real thing, but it flies like a projectile turd. Hope you get to enjoy that as well on your iphone, but its huge.

I enjoyed this helicopter especially since it's the first one I've managed to take off with and it is extremely detailed. I used the helicopter on low graphics on my iPhone and it worked fine(better than medium cause it lagged a lot on that setting). The only thing that is a problem with it on low graphics is that the main propeller gets jammed sometimes but that's really it. Great job!

Too bad I only found this after I made mine. I wouldn't of had to go through the trouble. I like yours a lot more than mine. Nice job.

Thanks skip, guess i should slap a computer only warning on it. I tried it on my iphone on medium and i almost couldnt load it. Sad because i would love to hear for you guys about the flying. Im jaded because ive spent so much time making it flyable that i love flying it now. I fly collective pitch single rotor r/c helicopters because they are so hard to fly, so i guess thats why i was so determined to master this models flying characteristics.

Hopefully in a update or 2 helicopters will be more handheld friendly. Thanks for the ratings gents, i spent a long time on this one just to make it fly. It is hands down my favorite attack chopper also, so I had to do it justice.

Well it certainly looks cool and damn near like the real deal. But unfortunately it's just too much for my tablet to handle... Shame, its my favorite attack chopper.

@thomasjaf lol, yeah this one pushes the power of my PC too. On medium graphics it seems a better on the pc performance, and i didnt notice a significance difference in the helicopters flying.

Looks perfect! I don't know why rotors generally kill my computer though...

Yeah, its a stable as I could make a rotating blade heli. The blades serve no function except for making you believe its providing lift. With bigger helis to come there might be more stability, it seems the heavier the less they are effected by the blades. Thanks for giving it a try Teus and for the comment.
