Designed for stability and fine control.
VTOL slider down opens the airbrakes. During gun training I recommend not using the throttle to slow down but instead using the airbrakes while keeping the throttle open. This way you can preserve your engines thrust by not having to wait for it to spool up so you can reaccelerate faster.
