Magpie
Literally cobbled together, these small, feisty biplanes were created as an emergency fighter due to the rapid Japanese advance- it was essentially a Frankenstein's monster of a plane, incorporating parts from at least 3 different types of fighters in the ROCAF's inventory. Though it had been easy and cheap to construct with the extra parts lying around, they only had subpar performance, and were not made in quantity, with only 30 ever built. None survived the conflict, sadly.
I wanted to make a larger biplane but I got backtracked and ended up making this little fighter. It's quite small compared to my other fighters but it is pretty decent, with 4 guns in the cowling. There is even a cool little non functional telescopic gunsight on the plane! I was inspired to build this little aircraft by the extremely obscure Zhong 28-Yi, a Chinese biplane that was a mashup of Hawk III and I-15 components. This plane was built all in one day, just cause I can. Somewhat larger biplane coming soon. Thanks to rexzion for helping with gear issues!
Tips: whatever you do, do NOT aggressively pitch down. Also, below 150kmh (around 93mph) the plane can have a tendency to stall. It's mostly safe to be around that speed when landing, though.
(Guns are based on the PV-1. The tail is supposed to be from the Goldfinch, and the gear/cowling from a later variant Gladius. I'll assume most of the rest is some I-15 thing.)

Nice!
Nah it’s fine, irl aircraft act that way so I think it’s fine. @TurtlesThatFly
@KangaKangaTheRoo Yeah, I fiddled with with the CG a lot as well as the wings but this is the one weight configuration that I was most happy with. I'm sorry that it's kinda unstable sometimes.
Gee it swoops like one too, it looks alright, but flies nothing like a biplane, you could fiddle w the flight model and find something that can turn on a dime, nice work nonetheless.
