Swarm version (multiple spawnable at once) here
- The Defensive bombers series’ aim is to make killing AI bomber targets 10x more difficult, because fun is not allowed. This is done by giving them the ability to shoot back at you >:). All bombers have a semi realistic armament with semi realistic ranges, muzzle velocities, and firing arcs.
- (Wiki)
The Tupolev Tu-95 (NATO reporting name: "Bear") is a large, four-engine turboprop-powered strategic bomber and missile platform. First flown in 1952, the Tu-95 entered service with the Long-Range Aviation of the Soviet Air Forces in 1956 and was first used in combat in 2015. It is expected to serve the Russian Aerospace Forces until at least 2040.
Gun layout
(Spawn as AI in aggressive mode, guns will activate and deactivate depending on if they are in arc/range.)
Tail
- 1x twin GSH-23 23mm cannon turret
(Range: 1250m)
Notes
- Both this and the B-52 have a reload system for the guns, as well as flares that make them a bit more interesting to fight
- Other cold war jet bombers like the TU-14/16 and IL-28 that had turrets are coming for the Soviets too, (hopefully) so that's a thing
- hm
Enjoy getting-
Nah, let's just appreciate the fact that these two beauties are going to remain in service for a long while...
(Still do enjoy getting obliterated)

@Hello9WeAgree2 Well,
- do you have multiple spawned in? If so you need to use the swarm variant instead because this version can only be spawned in once
- if accuracy is the issue unfortunately I can’t really fix that, since during testing it shot down most of the craft I used relatively easily at close range, and it’s usually more of a problem with the cockpit placement of the aircraft you use that determines wether it hits
- the flares are meant to be there, as it is a Cold War era strategic bomber after all, and needs some sort of defense against missiles due to them being so prevalent even back to this things debut. Also makes things more interesting imo
((Sorry for the tech-support ahh response, I’m just not too clear on what you’re saying lol))
They fire at everything Newr them but me. I have them on aggressive and they launch flares at my missiles
