During the late 70’s, most light attack aircraft can’t keep up with the German G96B when escorting and delivering secondary firepower is lack luster, so the Anglo-German collaboration drafted high powered and cheap aircraft under £120.000,00. The final proposal is the F-92 Haida, being just as fast as the G96B, able to defend it, and able to finish off partially damaged buildings. The intimacy between the F-92 Haida and the G96B is so well known on the eastern side of the Iron Curtain that the soviet nicknamed them respectively; Romeo, and Juliet. All because the two aircraft always operate with each other.
