Boeing B-52 Stratofortress
–BASIC RUNDOWN– The B-52 Stratofortress is an American long range nuclear capable heavy bomber developed by Boeing company directly for the U.S. airforce and military, the U.S. then proceeded to flex on everyone with it. –HISTORY– the B-52 Stratofortress was designed in 1951 and first flown in December 1954 (image shown here) Between 1952 and 1962 Boeing built 744 B-52s in a total of eight versions, although the b-52A was only a test version of the aircraft. Also the B-52 first circumnavigated the world in Jan 1957 without stopping once! Although it did need refueling, during the time in between the designing and testing phase. The B-52 was primarily used as the U.S.A.s heavy bomber during the cold war due the simple fact that the B-2 Spirits wasn’t ready yet. The B-52s were used as heavy bombers during the Vietnamese war and gulf war alongside the b-2 spirits. The B-52 is still in use today and undergo regular maritime and war exercises to keep them running and a large usable fleet just in case. –APPEARANCE– the B-52 is 49m long and has a 56m wingspan making it extremely large at its time of introduction although it is small by today's standards. The B-52 is usually gray, chrome or in a military standard camo pattern. The B-52 is pretty iconic for its insane power and iconic wing shape and its 8 engines. –INSTRUCTIONS– AG1:Bomb bay and arming missiles and bombs AG8: landing light –PERSONAL NOTE– this was actually kind of fun more than the B-17 or N1 so enjoy the B-52
