The J-22 ThunderFrog

is a Multirole Fighter jet used by the OIAF (Otsumokuri Imperial Air Force) and the INC (Imperial Navy Carrier). What you’re looking at now is the Air Force version, packing more weapons and a heavier load. When it comes to mobility, the naval version, the J-22S, is more agile since it’s been tweaked to meet the Navy’s strict requirements for carrier deployment.

In terms of speed and range, the J-22A takes the lead over the J-22S. It can hit top speeds over 2500km/h (but only around 1500km/h in-game) with a range of 40,000km, holding 7,000 liters of fuel and burning about 437.5 liters/hour (not in-game). As of 2015, there are 2,366 units of the J-22 (both versions) in service, with 65 successful missions out of 112 and a dogfight win ratio of 15:23. A total of 97 units have been lost.
