China K-8
K-8 trainer (China code: K-8, English: Hongdu K-8, formerly used code: Teo-8, L-8), is a subsonic turbofan engine jet trainer developed by China Aviation Industry Hongdu Aircraft Industry Corporation (Code: 320 Factory).
As a new generation of primary trainers, the K-8 trainer was designed in July 1987 and prototype construction began in January 1989. A total of 5 aircraft were built (3 for flight and 2 for static tests).
The K-8 trainer aircraft has two side intake, tandem cockpit, medium aspect ratio single wing, normal tail wing and front three landing gear layout. The K-8 is the first type of aircraft design and manufacturing technology that China transfers to other countries, such as Pakistan, Egypt and Myanmar.
