50.4k Stingray
8.9 years ago
Auto Credit Based on Stingray's Classic British Lightning (Mobile)
The English Lightning was UK's only cold war supersonic fighter, equipped with two Rolls-Royce 16,000 lb thrust Avro engines. Optionally equipped with an external belly fuel tank for longer missions. Reportedly, someone got hold of the airframe design an placed two J-79 scramjets in it. The resulting SP model cruises 11,000 mph at 120,000 feet.

Nice :D
Thanks, this one is kinda fast, with no attempt to limit the BAC Lightning's speed to mach 2 @VernalTie513
Thanks @Kimo
@Nickasaurus well, my recent armed watercopter KH -99X is maneuverable, check out the bridge buster....
Thank you, @TheLatentImage
Thank you, @PlanesAndThings
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/n12b55/Simple-Jet AND https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/R8DANm/F-22-Mod-Lighter ARE BOTH SLOW and Agile @Nickasaurus
@Stingray you should try focusing on the maneuverable aspect more just for one plane please? (im not being picky id just like to see what you would come up with since you are the master of speed)
Cool! Depends what platform you're using! (Yeah I went above 300,000 feet but do not advertise all my testing.) Enjoy. @coolhand83
erm..... I just hit 400,000 feet. At 0% throttle. And I'm still climbing...
Thx, the platform took some time.... @Nickasaurus
This is one of your most maneuverable high speed jets yet
@Stingray yeah. I also love the description XD
Thank you this one was a surprise to me, using ancient "blocks+clipped engines" to strengthen the body to withstand hyper speed. Which has worked on posts even under the "new" Steam. @Nickasaurus
Whoah horses, I never got it that fast! Thx for testing! @Bilak777
I got This to 21000mph!
