Lockheed Martin F-16E Block 60
I'm Back~
No VR cockpit this time, just the plane and the usual fixings. If you wanna add a cockpit go right ahead, but imma try leaning more into the 'simple' in SimplePlanes again. Quite happy with the flight handling here; It's believable enough me thinks, and I actually got some decent AoA and slip in the turns for once. I just don't do sim-like builds, sorry (I do not have the patience for such an endeavor lol)

Originally designed and produced by General Dynamics, the company was bought out by Lockheed in 1993 and then merged with Martin Marietta in 1995, thus the modern 'Lockheed Martin' company we know today. They took over the GD Fort Worth plant that produces the F-16, which I reflect by using LM as the manufacturer in the title instead of GD.
The F-16E/F Block 60 (single-seater, twin-seater respectively) are some of the most modern F-16 variants in use today. Initially a concept presented to Israel it was instead passed over for the F-15I. However Lockheed Martin kept some of the lessons learned from the proposed aircraft such as the distinctive Conformal Fuel Tanks to be used at a later date. The company wouldn't have to wait long; the United Arab Emirates around the same time as the mergers were going on put out a requirement for a long-range strike fighter, and Lockheed Martin went back and offered their modified F-16. The result was the Block 60; major changes over standard F-16's of the era were a new Active Electronically Scanned Array radar, improved defense countermeasures, and a FLIR-based targeting system. These were integrated with a new digital 'glass cockpit,' and the CFT's were made standard as they allowed for increased range with-or-without drop tanks freeing up the inboard wing stations for ordnance if desired. Similarly modified F-16's are being purchased by other nations, though the specs change depending on what capabilities they want. The Block 60 is now being used as the basis for a Block 70/72 designated the F-16V 'Viper' - officially adopting the nickname most people assign to the plane instead of the 'Fighting Falcon.'

The gbu-12's positioning is very bad, it cannot accurately target except the uss beast
@LunarEclipseSP Something tells me the CFT's for the F-2A Kai were shaped specifically for it, even if the F-2A shares a similar silhouette to an F-16. Wouldn't feel right to me
Put this conformal fuel tanks in your F-2A build and voila! We finally have the F-2 Super Kai jet

@Ded Hello I have a request can I use your missles for a jet I'm working on? And how did you make it so that the missles dont shake on your pylons?
I love the F-16!
