Burattino Emancipato
The puppet who got away!
A certain wooden puppet who once wished upon a star, to be a real boy, was built by his so called "Father" Giuseppe "Polendina" Geppetto. But the "Pinnochio Incident", as it was to be called, was not the first such incident to happen.
Geppetto, in his madness, built an earlier prototype, named simply, Burattino.
Burattino, during the course of his story, traveled to the mountains and fought a "dragon" at the request of the concerned villagers. After following a trail of trials and travails, he was victorious and was able to make a wish of his own.
"To be a big deal all around the whole world."
Unfortunately, the wish was made to a trickster genie, found in a magic lantern in the dragon's loot, instead of to a pansy blue fairy, like his lucky later brother. So the results, predictably, were less than ideal for poor Burattino.
Please share his story around the whole world.
