Piper PA-28 Cherokee

106k Hedero  5.0 years ago

I'm really proud of the way this plane came out. It was built mainly because I wanted to update my old Cherokee. And I really think this was a major improvement. I'll be uploading a Piper PA-28 Cherokee Archer in a little while. So hold tight, it'll come! And I also have plans for building a biplane version of the F6F Hellcat suggested by Mustang51. So prepare for something like that. 1=nav lights --- 2=landing light --- VTOL=flaps. Enjoy!!!

Very nice design. I haven't been on for a while, but this is the type of design I've been looking for. Good job!

Yea I know the aircraft speed isn't exactly scale to the real one. But I figured no one would realize it so I left it. But thank you for noting that and supporting my aircraft. And From what I saw there was rigging wires on the Cherokees but I could be wrong. Thank you again for the support man.@ND40X

I think you have done a decent job with this. But I think it's the engine performance that lets it down (I would know, I train in PA-28's).
The PA-28 takes off at 55 knots and is over the runway numbers at about 60-65 knots
It also typically cruises at 100 knots (at 2300 RPM)

Apart from that though, you did a good job. (although I don't think the normal Cherokee has rigging (the thin wire))

Looks pretty good but it has quite severe autoroll to the left and it has a top speed of over 200mph, way too fast.

@Hedero yessir! It’s a pretty great series of aircraft. If you’re ever thinking about buying a light GA plane, I highly recommend taking a look at those
