The M65 Ardent is a Paternian main battle tank in service with the Paternian Army between 1955 and 1999, with variants seeing use as late as 2020. The first main battle tank in Paternian service, the M65 formed the backbone of Paternian armored units until the introduction of M5 Victoria in 1986. Exported widely and seeing use in numerous conflicts, the M65 have proven itself a potent platform, renowned for its high maneuverability and firepower in the form of a 105mm M69 cannon. Despite its successful service, it would eventually be eclisped by superior designs. By 1975, it was clear to the Paternian Army that the M65 was reaching the end of its development. The search for a replacement would be contentious, with different ideas and concepts put forth as to its replacement. In a controversial decision, the M5 Victoria was selected. Whether this decision was correct or not continues to be hotly debated, although the Victoria would see service, largely in the same capacity, for over 100 years. The last combat of the M65 would be on Mars in factional warfare; a turretless M65 employed as a hauler was commandeered and fitted with an armored parapet with automatic weapons.

@Pilotmario with the M3 yes that was part of it but there was also an issue with the angled armor on the opposite side of the secondary gun. The M3 is in my opinion one of the cooler WW2 tanks.

It's okay. WWII armor is not particularly easy to make due to the complex curves. @Flash0of0green

@Pilotmario after sum though and a lot of head scratching. I have decided to give up on that project. menny of the parts for it would be varry hard to fabricate and I do not have that much time left this summer to work on it. Sorry for asking
