Woohooo!!
So i think its a perfect time to upload some aircraft
As requested by thepilot04 a few days ago then i built me 262
Some information about the me262b -1a:
The German night fighter force was revealed as the weeks became less and less capable of stopping British Bomber Command's offensive in the second half of 1944 (when the RAF bombing operations resumed after the landing in Normandy), Oberst Hajo Hermann, commander of the Jagddivision 30, known to advocate energetic combat tactics, suggested making a night fighter version of the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet.
Hermann himself and the Oberleutnant Behrens from Rechlin's Erprobungstelle tried out a Me 262 experimentally equipped with the Liechtenstein SN-2 radar and declared it a night hunter that promised a lot.
It was decided to begin the conversion of the Me 262B-la two-seat trainers into night fighters, which received an impressive assortment of radio and radar devices including the FuG 16ZY VHF radio equipment, the FuG 25a IFF (Identification Friend or Foe, or friend or foe identification), the FuG 120a Bernhardine teletypewriter, the FuG 125, the FuG 218 Neptun V standby radar and the FuG 350ZC Naxos guidance radar; the unsightly presence at the front of a network of intertwined antennas reduced the maximum speed of the Me 262 from 873 km/h to 813 km/h only, but the latest serial version of the aircraft, the Me 262B-2a , had an elongated rear fuselage of 1.14 m allowing to carry an additional amount of fuel of the order of 910 1.
Two 30 mm upward-mounted MK 108 guns were mounted in a Schraqe Musk installation; only one copy of this version flew before the end of the conflict. A second apparatus of this type, equipped with a centimeter radar AI lodged at the front in a rounded fairing (which suppressed the untimely external antennas), was waiting to make its flight tests when the war ended; he was supposed to reach a maximum speed of 860 km / h.
In terms of performance, if not equipment, these aircraft were way ahead of allied night fighters: if they had served in significant numbers (and if the Germans had the fuel needed to deploy them), they would certainly have inflicted considerable losses to Bomber Command.
