Me 262 Jet Fighter

1,083 SimpleEngineering  4.9 years ago

The German Messerschmitt 262 Jet Fighter. First introduced in 1944, the Me 262 was the first operational jet-powered fighter. It was famously used for Anti-Bomber fighters, Fighter-Bombers and Interceptors, with a top speed of 540 mph and armed with 4 x 30 mm MK 108 cannons and additional rockets. Although the Me 262 is fast, it's not very maneuverable compared to other fighters.

Hello everyone, after months of not uploading, I'm back. This is not the best Me 262, but I tried, I hope you all enjoy it!
(also, I haven't placed Landing Gears yet, sorry about that...)
(Another note, this plane tends to lift up a lot, so adjust your trim!)

Considering that this was made on Android, it's pretty impressive!

@SimpleEngineering why don’t you grab one off one of my aircraft? There is probably one which will fit well that you can make modifications to. No credit necessary either :)

@Mustang51 But be warned, I suck at making custom Landing Gears...

Wow this is pretty neat! The overall shape is quite similar to the real thing and the proportions are done well too. However, the cockpit is a bit too integrated with the fuselage and should stick out a little more. Other than that it’s great!
