After Canada declared war on Austria in 1935, England stepped in to defend, with the Orion FM2. The Peppershaker was underpowered and under armed, unaware with what they were dealing with. Despite the higher speed, the enemy FE-27 biplanes out maneuvered and outgunned it. It was poor as a ground attack plane as well. The 35 pound bombs could only disable the lightest of tanks,
