As an important development in fighter aircraft, this fast fighter had an enclosed cockpit and retractable gear in a time where those were rare sights on aircraft. The plane itself had a powerful engine to accomodate it's all metal construction and mechanisms, and was able to carry 4 guns in the air. However, the USAAC chose another plane to buy more of, and a few of these were sent all over the world to demonstrate it's technologies, inspiring nations to incorporate most of its features into their planes.
The last plane of 2020. This is a mashup of the P-35 and the P-36 I cobbled together in the last few days. It's sluggish in maneuverability but it's got good speed, as well as semi-accurate guns, them being 3 M1919 AN's and one AN/M2. Finally, I used a similar gear retraction system used on the Ermine cause similar system cam be found on some American WWII fighters. Enjoy, and have a happy new year!
