Krakabloan Air Defence Heavy Bomber

2,407 TurtlePants  1.7 years ago

During the Three Years War (See my other plane, Krakabloan Air Defence Light Biplane), the Krakabloan Air Defence (KAD) used the TR1-PN, a three-engined bomber manufactured by Imperial Aircraft Works (IAD), throughout its entirety. First delivered in 2388 G.T., it had a bombload of 750 pounds (Although a load of 500 pounds is carried here), a crew of four, and a top speed of 255 miles an hour. Pilots at first weren’t the most grateful about its open cockpit and relatively high stall speed, but its simple construction and great redundancy easily made it the best Krakabloan bomber of the war. The navigator/bombardier occupied the far nose, with the pilot above and behind them. In the tail, (arnament removed in this version) a tail gunner sat with a dorsal gunner/observer against their back. This model, a TR1-PN-K, bears KAD-11 “Death Arrow” squadron markings. Activation group 1 for bombs (Use Bombardier camera) while ideally traveling straight or banking to the left slightly. For landing, come in at around 100 miles per hour, using flaps (VTOL) and flaring the nose to reduce speed. This is by far my largest craft and I hope you enjoy it.
