"The Air Defense Force's 5th gen, ultra-fast super fighters occupy every seat at the table of modern aerial combat. There is no purpose for a mildly fast prop trainer, and surely the 10+ other airframes the ATC operates as trainers negate the need for a costly, maintenance-intensive push prop whose only benefit is its sleek looks. Well, frick you and frick your taxes because if we can recruit a catgirl, we sure as hell are gonna buy a ridiculously over-complicated aircraft whose only role is a specific apex of advanced ACM and aggressor missions. We here at the Air Training Corps don't give a shit about what the politicians say or what you think because as long as the ADF keeps kicking over our portion of their bottomless defense budget, we will keep making pro-gamer moves. The Mimosa adds no valuable addition to our fleet, but now little boys and girls will look to the skies with an awe and wonder that matches the roar of the ADF's super fighters as they blow out every window on your street. I cannot stress enough how bad of a deal this was for all parties involved. People keep asking, 'why did [the ATC] buy the Mimosa.' I DON'T FRICKING KNOW MAN. THERE NO REASONABLE ARGUEMENT FOR BUYING THIRTY FRICKING FOUR USELESS RAMP QUEENS THAT CANT EVEN TAKE OFF WITHOUT MANIFESTING SEVEN MECHANICAL FAULTS. I would complain about the cost but we have a nearly endless budget thanks to the ADF. Maybe all this drama was engineered for more media exposure. I mean, recruiting is up, so we get more money from the ADF so..."
