The THUNDERBOLT PALMER HIGH-SPEED-PERSONAL-ESCAPE-AIRCRAFT is just as the name entails, a high speed escape aircraft designed for high ranking officals. The aircraft was originally designed to replace the JPHB series, but problems with the weight forced designers to look to other options. The original designation for this aircraft was the JPHSAB (Jet propelled High Speed Attack bomber) but was changed when designers acknowladged the high speed the aircraft achieved at 5000m. So the decesion was made to convert the aircraft to an escape aircraft, with a reserve of fuel for extended distance. The top speed is 1050 MPH at 5000 ft
