Controls

Plane

Trim, Throttle, Brake, Roll, Pitch, and Yaw are all normal.

Flaps: VTOL down (Flaps 15 degrees when VTOL is between -45 and -55%)

Engines and Other Aircraft Functions: Group 8

Reverse Thrust: Brake and GS less than 54 kts (100 km/h) (only works on ground, but Group 5 and Group 8 for override)

Spoilers: Group 1 and Group 8 when aircraft is on ground. Or Group 1, Group 8, and Brake when in the air.

Pushback: Group 6 and Group 8.

Front Passenger Door: Group 5 on, Group 8 off, and GS<1 m/s.

Cargo Doors: Group 7, and GS<1 m/s. VTOL 0% for both doors closed, VTOL 1 to 50% for front cargo door, VTOL 51 to 99% for both doors open, VTOL 100% for rear cargo door. Doors will not close if Group 7 is deactivated, and VTOL>0%.

The ramps aren't primarily for aesthetics — they are there because of some strange part collision issues I encountered.

Ground Steering: Yaw (only works on ground, but Group 5 and Group 8 for override)

Position Lights: Always On

Anti-Collision Lights

  • Red: Group 8, use from pushback to engine shutdown.

  • White: Group 3 and Group 8

Taxi Lights*: Group 2 and Group 8

Cabin Lights: Group 4

*Will automatically deactivate over 18,000 ft (5,486.4 m)

Much of this aircraft wouldn't be the same without their airliners.
And also for their Wright Lights in the screenshots.

RealSavageMan

This video on precise rotation was very useful — I now use small rotators for basically anything that rotates.

GuyFolk

I decided that the map from GuyFolk's [AI] auto ejecting Wasp-B would be very useful in terms of navigation and travelling to locations beyond the map boundary.
