CG-49 USS Vincennes
My first AEGIS cruiser :D
USS Vincennes (CG-49) was a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser outfitted with the Aegis combat system that was in service with the United States Navy from July 1985 to June 2005. She was one of 27 ships of the Ticonderoga class constructed for the United States Navy, and one of five equipped with the Mark 26 Guided Missile Launching System.
Vincennes was commissioned in 1985, and saw service in the Pacific before being dispatched to the Persian Gulf in 1988 in support of Operation Earnest Will during the Iran–Iraq War. Vincennes had a reputation as a “robo-cruiser” partly because of her powerful technological capability and partly because of the particularly aggressive way in which Captain William C. Rogers III handled the ship. Operating in this capacity, the cruiser shot down Iran Air Flight 655, an Airbus A300, over the Persian Gulf with two radar guided SM-2MR Standard missiles, killing 290 passengers, including 66 children, which sparked an international incident between the United States and Iran. Following the cessation of hostilities, Vincennes returned to the Pacific Fleet where she remained for the rest of her active career. Vincennes was decommissioned in 2005 after attempts to retrofit the cruiser with the Mark 41 Vertical Launching System failed, and was initially laid up in a reserve fleet at the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility at Naval Base Kitsap, in Bremerton, Washington. In 2010 the vessel was towed to Texas for scrapping, which was completed in 2011.

@Inuyasha8215 glad to hear it. I’ve been on a T-AO for the past few months and there’s a lot of cool stuff about the fuel and supply ships that doesn’t get a lot of attention from the public
@Tankbuster I might perhaps consider building ships again in the future but yes.
You should build a USNS ship as well. Either a T-AO or T-AKE would be really cool. It could present a worthy challenge too to make working unrep stations
Tico-tico nee!
@Inuyasha8215 I have sent it.Chek here

@Inuyasha8215 Thanks!
@HorizonSAYOU Sure
Can I use the base of your ship to build a new ship?
Cool watercraft 👍
