kinetic powered, does feature some xml modding. definitely 'unlimited' class as opposed to my usual 'cars' - drivable only really with a controller, massively fast with huge potential to go faster.

    @ChallengerHellcat you fire the cannon to move forwards, i have it mapped to a button on my controller, you need to cycle the weapons first to activate it then restart the race, roll controls the steering. i have it all set up for controller!

    controls? wasd, vtol, throttle, brake and trim doesn't do anything for me

    @flatearthmom one more thing, I have a method of propulsion powerful enough for speeds well beyond this car. Here is a link to it. It will need some changes to its FT code, so once I have some free time, I will give you updated code to use it with

    @flatearthmom you just beat my car, congrats. I'm not sure how I could go any faster without building something such as a timed sequence of detachers to allow for times well below 9 seconds

    @7 nice, i run super low sensitivity on the controller, all my cars are very rear biased, smooth inputs required!

    @flatearthmom one other thing, I've always found that a lower steering angle gives tighter turns for some reason, my 10 second car has a steering angle of 0.5 degrees

    @7 nice, my best engines only does a 19, that's with no movable aerodynamic devices, xml or stacking/nudging etc, its uploaded already!

    @flatearthmom I'm going to upload a car soon that does 27 seconds, but it uses 12 engines to get up to and hold speed faster

    @7 thank you! I have put a lot of time in to speed cars and developed many little tricks!

    balance is very important, most problems can be fixed with balance.

    i'd be interested to see your 10s car in action! I'd love for SP to get a speedrun scene going!

    I think i have the fastest wheels and engines cars going, i have a bone stock single engine, 4 wheel car with no XML/weird stuff that pushes 29's on GP

    Holy crap, how did you get this much maneuverability out of just wheels? My 10 second car uses funky trees jet engines for its steering.
