Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is considered to be one of the last true muscle cars. The "Hellcat" was introduced in 2015 and took the automotive world by storm. It is powered by a 6.2L pushrod V8 engine with hemispherical combustion chambers (thus the term "HEMI"). The engine is boosted by a 2.4L Twin-Screw Supercharger that sucks air through one of the headlights. The engine makes 707 Horsepower and 650 ft/lbs of Torque at the Crankshaft. The Hellcat is available with either a Tremec 6-Speed Manual or a Torqueflite 8-Speed Automatic transmission. The Hellcat is capable of accelerating 0-60 in 3.4 Seconds with a top speed of 199MPH. The car can compete the 1/4 mile in just under 11 Seconds. This car is responsible for starting a horsepower war between Dodge, Chevrolet, and Ford, with the Hellcat being outpaced by Dodge's own "Demon" Challenger in 2018.
