SF-127 Thunderstar - Welcome To The Stars

7,203 Xogo  8.3 years ago

The year is 2576, and war has long since passed into space. The entirety of earth has been taken over by America, Britain, and the Commonwealth. Other countries have fled to different planets, surviving in bases and sattelites they've built. At the front of the US fighter pack stands the F-127 Thunderstar - A state of the art single man fighter, armed with two oversize plasma cannons. These spacecraft primarily protect what are now earth only inhabitants from large bombers sent by other nations, but are also capable of shredding fighters in a pinch. Fear them.

Controls: To take off, throttle to 100%. You'll have to pitch down a lot. Once you have sufficient altitude, press 1 and VTOL down to activate flight mode. Once stable flight has been achieved, press 8 to disable thrust redirection nozzles.

Notes: Rolls to the left a bit, not sure why, so I added a trim slider for roll. If someone could fix it, that would be great. Also, I don't reccommend flying this thing on pure keyboard - you want to be able to have partial pitch. BTW, this is more looks than anything else.

Fun Fact: THis was actually based off a small, starwars inspired lego creation I made (like a minikit, but even smaller) a year back. The same goes for many of the other things like this I make.
