So, I decided I was going to make the “Eva’s Hammer” from Wolfenstein. The thing is, I’ve never built a submarine before and attempted to make a crude driving mechanism. The mechanism is essentially a buoy that sits on the surface with a hidden VTOL engine inside of it. And then there is VTOL nozzles inside the submarine. This is extremely inneficient. What I want someone to do is make a better diving system for it. Also, there is plenty of space inside the sub for you to build the mechanism.
PERSON WHO DOES IT WILL GET 10 UPVOTES AND RECOGNITION ON THE FINAL PROJECT

Here you are! @typeZERO
It looks like a mon cal ship from star wars
Ok, it will be a day or two before that happens, thanks. @typeZERO
@Brendorkus
Yes, XML are the one you Edit to change the Properties.
.
Since you chose Multi, Here's what I want you to Do:
Build The Hammer First; The Details, the Weapons, the Cannon, EVERYTHING, just do the Submerging Mechanism Later
Sorry, but it won’t let me click on it due to restrictions I have on my phone... @typeZERO
@Brendorkus
This one:
Are XML files those thing that allow to edit to change properties of a part? If so, then yes. @typeZERO
@Brendorkus
Last Question:
You Know how to Edit the XML Files?
If not, then Please Study it, Because you're going to need it.
Multi depth would probably be better, thanks. @typeZERO
Ok, Now I showed you the Play styles, now please choose one.
I can teach you how to make a Submarine with either Fixed or Multi... I'm still learning the Free.
I see you... Eva's Hammer... :P
Ok, First and Foremost, what type of play-style would you set your Submarine?
As far as I can see, there are 3 ways of Making a Submarine Dive in this group and they all depend on the Play-style you would like to set on your build. They have no Specific Names. But let's just name them:
.
.
.
Free Dive
Here's an Example
(Diving Realism)
These type of Submarines Focuses on Diving. They can go down to
AS FAR AS YOUR NERVES CAN TAKE YOU (I've Tried 2000+ Feet underwater)Though you need Underwater Camera Mod to fully experience these Builds. Also, Since this build can go to as deep as the Player Desires, there is a Big Possibility that the weapons will despawn (65 Feet). The play-style of this build is simply relax and enjoy the Underwater View.
Fixed Depth
Here's an Example
(Assault Configuration)
These type of Submarines focuses on Combat Performance. Since Simple Planes Missiles does not lock on your plane if the cockpit is underwater,Their Submerged depth is fixed at a single depth and is Controlled by a single Activation Group. The Play-style of this build is to Attack at a Specific angle from the target, Submerge, and resurface on a Different Location for maximum Damage. (Although they cannot shoot at you while submerged, the Ship Guns will Still Track you EVEN WHILE SUBMERGED.
(I know, my build is Pathetic....T^T I am currently making a more CRAZIER AND MORE POWERFUL Submarine that uses this config, but it is still under Construction.)
Multi-Depth
Here's an Example
(Mixed)
These type of Submarines are somewhat a cross between Fixed and Free Dive. Their Depth is Fixed at a Maximum Depth but they can adjust their depth depending on the Player's Preference, as long as it does not go beyond the Fixed Max Depth; It Uses Either VTOL or TRIM to Submerge. These Submarine's Play style are similar to Assault but with the Luxury to Enjoy the Underwater View.
Please Choose one of these, so I can Help you on to choose on who you should consult for Help... :D
I’ll try that, thanks. @SledDriver
If you don't want to use VTOL engines, I think the only option is to use rotators with propellers made out of wings.
@typeZERO Sorry to tag you, but I remember you saying how you could make builds submerge. I was wondering if you’d be interested in this.
