C-10 Parrot
2,317 COMPASS
2.8 years ago
The first rotorcraft designed by C-10, The Parrot shows it’s age. First being manufactured in the late 40’s as an attempt at creating a stable single rotor helicopter, the Parrot mainly saw use as a trainer for larger craft of the time. The large orrange fuel tanks attributed to the naming of the craft as the founder of C-10 commented on it looking like ‘a big, ugly, tropical mess’ due to the ridiculous size of the tanks and the bold colour used to identify it as a potential fire hazzard.
