One of the saddest stories in aviation history, The XP-87 was a great fighter, but development took too long due to lack of power in the Wright powerplant (It was replaced by a Pratt & Whitney, but too late) and it was replaced by the F-89 Scorpion. It's failure marked the end of the Curtiss corporation, and it sold out to North American. This is my first real replica, and Upvotes are greatly appreciated.
