Big Rock Blaster (Boulder Blaster inspired)

49 Kiwitostes  3.9 years ago

DISCLAIMER: This is my first upload, so there may be many things I can improve. ;)

This is a re-upload because I improved flight physics and an openable canopy..

As the name suggests, it's based on Lego Ninjago's Boulder Blaster.
- AG1: Power booster
- AG5: VTOL take off and landing gyro
- AG7: Canopy open/close
- Trim controls VTOL nozzle angles
- VTOL controls vertical trim
(Yes, there's a reason for these last two)

How to fly:
1. Activate takeoff and landing gyro (AG5 - blue light on) and apply thrust to elevate off ground.
2. Retract landing gear (green light off).
3. Gently turn VTOL nozzles (using Trim - amber VTOL-centered indicator goes off) to forward thrust until travelling forward at about 250km/h.
4. Deactivate gyro (AG5).
6. Fly, dogfight, strafe, do acrobatics, whatever. For an extra speed boost, activate AG1 (red indicator light flashes very fast)
7. To land, reduce speed, activate gyro (AG5), center VTOL, apply air brake (it's very powerful), extend landing gear and land. Might take a try or two to get the hang of it.

Weapons:
- Obvious big-ass Gatling gun
- Multi mode high-speed cannon

I like things that don't run out of fuel or ammo, as you may notice.

Enjoy and please give feedback!
