3 years since my last upload.
9 years since I started playing this game.
Randomly, recently I decided to boot up the game and mess around. I've known of the cockpit additions for a while but never bothered, I never was good at fancy replica designs that get the most attention. just doing my own thing. but I decided to mess around with it either way.
Wile it's certainly not perfect, or not even really high quality, it's rather nice.
And I went through much more effort than I typically would for most of my designs, despite the various flaws.
For me, coming back after years of not playing, mostly reminded by the simple planes 2 trailer coming out recently that I saw, it was nice to look back and reflect.
the P-56 was always one of my favorite designs I ever made.
From it's first version I uploaded 9 years ago, simply labeled "P-56 V2".
Funny to think back on it, how I actually made it because I was inspired by the DO-335 which had just been added to war thunder recently at the time.
while they aren't all uploaded I would make a large number of variants of this plane over the years.
Eventually i'd come back back around 3 years ago to make an updated version of this old plane. the "P-56 Final"
Stylized in a way I liked more, and still do. Overall more refined since I had a better fundamental understanding of how to make good controlling planes in this game. but ov erall still remaining and incredibly simple barebones design.
And now, coming back another 3 years later, I've updated it once more.
Just, funny to think that i've been doing this on and off for 9 years now. and in all that time I've become nostalgic about this design.
A quick warning, at the very least using a mouse joystick is recommended, the controls are very touchy
