A daring fighter contemporary with WWII designs (no jets or explosives). While the Mad Wyvern required extensive modifications to effectively carry its massive forward weapon, the weapon itself (dubbed the "Hell Spreader") was a brutally inefficient beast, owing its effectiveness entirely to its indescriminate spray, which enveloped targets in a dizzying hail of bullets aimed at no-one in particular. The distinctive fuselage and extra engine designed to carry it, however, proved popular among Wyvern pilots, who were curious to see how the upgraded plane would perform without its clumsy armament. The result was the Wyvern S, a highly agile interceptor that retained the original Wyvern's VTOL-adjustable weapons (shifting the slider adjusts the spread), enabling pilots to rely on skill rather than luck- at their own discretion. The greatly-increased fuel consumption that limited the Mad Wyvern's range remains a factor, however, demanding an efficient and deliberate pilot for this high-risk high-reward fighter.
