Bandit Run [25 upvote prize!]
so the devs haven't made a tournament in a while... so I did!
Introduction:
Welcome to the bandit run racing tournament!
you will have to make a manoeuvrable prop plane which will be downloaded by me and used in the Race against opponents feature with AI control on, so that its fair.
Rules:
1) Must be a successor.
2) Must be your own build.
3) must be new, if its not uploaded already then its fine.
4) at least 20 parts, maximum 700 parts
5) dont make it stupidly big, not gonna measure it but use common sense
6) no modded engines
7) Prop only
8) No mods (other than fine tuner and overload just for decoration)
9) max 2 props
feel free to ask questions in the comments
How it will work:
I will download all the entrys
I will then match them up against each other (randomly)
I will race them on Bandit run with AI mode on
whoever wins will pass on to the next round until there is only one left.
make your plane look good for extra points!
if you upload more than 1 entry, the most recent will be used.
Tips:
make a cool looking plane with a good livery.
test your plane with AI mode on on Bandit run.

@belugasub where can I get the plane in the picture?
@belugasub how is it going?
Ok cool @belugasub
No problem man! @Baldovino
@belugasub Take your time, this is our hobby, not our work. :) Just keep us informed. :) Thanks for your time.
It’s a lot of work I must admit.. I am however in the process of te first round @Baldovino
@belugasub XD I mean the tournament, but I hope all is ok in general.
Do you mean progress with the tournament or just in general? XD @Baldovino
@belugasub How is going, mate?
Ive done the first round, just gonna do the others today and tomorrow @jetnyan
Done yet? 15th
I want to enter late lol.
How did you do the screenshot?
Upvoted since you are keeping the idea of a Tournament alive. Note: why I am not entering, (1) the consistently fastest build violates the No version 1.5 propeller rule, (2) every other build I have for Bandit Run work great on Mac OS SimplePlanes but crash via buggy AI on Windows OS about 20% of the time. All scoring, including an actual flight test appear subjective at the moment. [May explain why Users lose interest in SP Tournaments, maybe.]
Hey buddy, will there be a video of who’s plane did best?@belugasub
Rip your dream @ChiyomiAnzai
@ChiyomiAnzai if it dosent give any performance advantages then yes
@belugasub
00F OK
It’s not uploaded sorry @P0TET0Z
@belugasub link to the plane in the picture? Please
What does that do? @Nerfaddict
Yes for all @Rub3n213
is It cool if I make wings 0 drag?
To clarify, custom fuselage wings.
Also I tend to make the aircraft without mass and then add mass pieces at the end, would this be an acceptable method if the end result were to be say between 5k-10k pounds?
Also I see no modded engines allowed but say for aesthetic purpose, could I scale say a T2000 a little larger to fit the nose of the aircraft?
@belugasub Is the "disableBaseMesh" mod for the small rotator allowed?'
Probably not I’m guessing @FairFireFight
