Developed in 1968,SM-5 was made to destroy a Sam sites using only one missile. It was also made to be launched from far away (around 35 miles, probably. Could be 40) so it's has enough fuel to go around the world.
Locking it takes some time. Throws some chaff while locking if you want to stay alive HeHe.
