Uses VTOL, but not in the conventional sense. All VTOL control is accomplished by normal key/stick usage of yaw, pitch, roll and trim. Trim controls the vertical aspect, up and down. the other controls are normal... does not have ailerons but does have small rudder and small elevators, but those are ineffectual at lower speeds. Has top speed of about 160 mph in the forward direction. Not easy for beginners to land. Can hover, once you get the hang of flying aircraft.
