About the CRJ-900
The CRJ900 is an extended version of the CRJ700 for 76-90 passengers. The aircraft is equipped with GE CF34-8C5 engines with a thrust of 59.4 kN and slats. The maximum take-off weight is 38.3 tons. The modification is a further development of the CRJ 200 series. The air conditioning system has an adjustment of the target temperature value. The cabin is equipped with a recirculation system that reduces the heating and cooling time. The engines are equipped with an electronic FADEC unit. The cabin floor is lowered by 5 cm, which improves the view from the portholes. The Honeywell RE220 APU drops much more air on the air conditioners and has higher limits on start-up and operation at the echelon. The wingspan has been increased, the height and span of the tail have been increased. Under normal conditions, the CRJ900 can occupy a level 2000-3000 m higher and maintain a speed of 830-925 km/ h, which is significantly higher than its predecessor. The FAA type certificate designates the CRJ900 as CL-600-2D24
