Avro NRJ-400 "Isle of Wright"
The NRJ-400 was an Medium Haul Mid-Market Trijet Developed by Avro Aircraft from the UK During the mid 2000's. The NRJ-400 can seat up to 232 passengers in an all economy layout, requires a crew of at least 3, and doesnt require a long runway. It has a Top speed of 352 Knots and a stall speed of 98 knots. Only 4 were ever made, 1 prototype, and 3 going to a budget airline named FLASH. All 3 were retired by 2017 due to a number of issues, including Slipping while taxiing, And a tail that wobbled.
Flash flight 196- On june 25th, 2005, Flight 196 Crashed while landing at Wright airport. the tail broke off mid air, resulting in a spin that later would crash the jet into a hill. All 197 people on board died. The tail had a design flaw that would cause it to Oscillate in turbulence. A strut was added to fix this problem.
