Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-19S
The MiG-19. The Farmer. The ginger middle child of messers. Mikoyan and Gurevich.
Everyone likes the MiG-15, everyone knows the MiG-17. The MiG-21 is one of the most ubiquitous combat aircraft of the modern age. OK; the MiG-23 quite frankly sucked balls and the follow up MiG-27 wasn't even a fighter, but no one really cares about those swing wing twits anyway.
The Fulcrum is a wonderful aeroplane and the Foxbat is, well, batty.
But the 19? Who has love for the 19? Well - the Chinese, for one - they bloody loved the MiG-19. So much so that they copied it, improved it, called it the Shenyang J-6, exported it like crazy (as the Shenyang F-6) and even based a fighter bomber on it (The Nanchang Q-5).
So - yeah, not really a popular type (the Vietnamese AF far preferred the MiG-17 over it during the war - you know which one...) but the Chinese liked it.
And that's good enough for me because I like it too.
It looks like the sort of jet you drew as a school boy - all sharp wing sweep, arbitrary pointy bits, big guns and a gaping nose inlet. It looks like the fevered scribblings of some lunatic savant that was locked in the basement of the Kremlin, given a crayon and told to draw the coolest jet fighter they could imagine.
Controls;
AG1 - drop inner wing stores
AG2 - drop outer wing stores
AG3 - deploy brake chute
AG4 - landing light
AG5 - running lights
Vtol down to drop flaps
Trim to trim out the pitch
Gear to cycle landing gear
Brake to activate air brakes
Have fun, komrades.

Just wanted to say, awesome narrative @GhostHTX ! Most amusing to read!
Right oh! If you need a wingman for that sortie, just let me know! @Alien
Many thanks.
Makes me want to go drink the de-icing fluid and frolic naked in the snow on some isolated Soviet airbase somewhere near the North Cape. Well, not really. Top drawer job old bean.
Many thanks for all the kind support! It is really very appreciated. I know that Im not the most popular builder here at SP, but since I really dont build for the upvotes it really isnt an issue.
I do, however, get a warm gooey feeling inside from knowing that you guys who repeatedly upvote me really dig what I do.
Brilliant!
Flies very nicely, like the cockpit.
Oh boy! Lovely progression in this series!
Bam quick.
