Daimler-Benz Jäger Db 609T
74.3k Mumpsy
6.1 years ago
Fictitious version of the Daimler-Benz Jäger DB 609. Which I believe was never produced. I changed up the tail and beefed up the engine. Enjoy.
Special thanks to Rambojutter for the use of your front gear setup.

@DerpyCookie17 To be honest, I haven't used xml. That jet engine is from someone else who posted it. It has no power at all and primarily used because it has a high pitched sound. I regretfully don't remember off hand who uploaded it right now.
The same size as the one you used@Mumpsy
Also another favor (sorry) there is an engine in the very front of the plane that would be (unmodded) the most powerful engine in the game. I need that, the same sized but one version with 50% of unmodded power and one with 100% of unmodded power, it isn’t very clear what I want so it’s ok if you don’t get it. Sorry I am using you xml ability but I can’t really do this on iOS @Mumpsy
@DerpyCookie17 For sure! Thanks.
I wanna ask for a favor, could you give me those vtol nozzles but untitled? I tried to set them back to normal but I just couldn’t, epic plane btw
@Mumpsy np! glad to be back!
@Mustang51 got it
Just tagged you! @Mumpsy
@Mustang51 Certainly! I will see if I can help.
Well I greatly appreciate that. Speaking of which, if I tag you in an unlisted version of a plane of mine could you tell me what you think and if I should add anything to it? @Mumpsy
@Mustang51 Thanks a lot! Very high praise indeed. I am a fan of you builds also!
@MAHADI Thanks! She is fairly light actually. Glad to have you back!
Still making these great builds I see. Your style is still one of my favourites on this site. Nice job man
Looks heavy...
@Mumpsy did you hear that sam shepherd is down for good? ok sounds a bit agressive but we know him for planes and this is the only way i could find to say hes gone with planes in mind.
@Mumpsy ok. sounds a bit plausible.
@Irobert55 It was supposedly a project they were working on but never completed it.
@AWESOMENESS360 possible contributing factor to scrapping of the project. Interesting concept though.
@SledDriver You ain't kidding! Kind of a flying blender.
@Treadmill103 Thanks! I upped my landing gear game a little bit on this one. Made harder by thinner wings than usual. But worth it.
@CrazyCatZe Thanks! Sometimes I am surprised by how few parts I have used myself to be honest. I am glad you liked it!
@AWESOMENESS360 nope. the dornier do335 had the same issue. its super easy esspacialy for germany at the time: explosive bolts in the propellers or a evacuation seat choose your answer.
looks nice. but why is it called like one of the most common engine producers in germany at the time?
@SledDriver Lol you'd be instantly shredded
Interesting design. I suppose bailing out is not an option... :)
