    yes, emp is electromagnetic pulse... this idea would be based off mag-lev trains such as the ones that run in Japan and Europe , using a positive then negative charge to pull the prop then push the prop... But yes ,a real EMP will bring your flying day to a rapid end. thanks.

    Just saying EMP stands for electro magnetic pulse, not electro magnetic prop. a real EMP would most likely fry your airplanes electronics
