Maybe this is the first turboprop I've shared. Actually, I have a lot of designs, but for some reason, I feel like it's better to remake them.
The BC-178 "Velthora" is a four-engine turboprop aircraft serving in the Navy. It's used for patrol, reconnaissance, and anti-submarine warfare.
With four turboprop engines, this plane can reach a max speed of 900 km/h (in-game, it's only around 450+). It can also fly up to 67,000 feet. Its light maneuverability makes it perfect for recon missions over hills and cliffs.
Activation Groups:
1 = Hook
2-5 = Engines
6 = Empty
7 = Open Bomb Bay
8 = Navigation Lights
I didn’t equip any weapons, but I did add a bomb bay under the aircraft in case you wanna load up some bombs, up to you.
A little Pitch Control guide for turboprop beginners:
Rawrrr :3
When adjusting the propeller blades, make sure the engine is off and set the blade pitch to positive (but before that, increase the pitch limit from 100% to 120% using Overload).
After that, turn on the engine and slowly move the pitch to positive 50%.
If you start the engine while the pitch is at 0%, the engine will go Over RPM, which will cause the blades to break.
How to reverse the aircraft (this is the method I use):
I quickly pull the pitch from positive 100% to negative -100%, then raise it back up to around -75%.
Man, I really love editing images like this.
