WSP_Cabbage
Oh gosh
@WisconsinStatePolice also, slightly unrelated but, what is your pintrest account called? i don't know where to find it
@WisconsinStatePolice damn, i didn't know you'd go to that extent, but hey, attention to detail is key amirite, also, feel free to explain in detail as to why some police departments didn't use pushbar, both fictional and real police departments, im genuinely interested in the reasoning since I've always viewed cop cars with pusbar as a north american thing, though i could be wrong though so... feel free to correct me if i was indeed completely wrong.
@126 uhhh
I start by finding a base vehicle , or getting one from you.
Then I snag a concept, usually from my Pinterest board or Google. I’ll modify it based on the rhetorical situation. For example, is the department this vehicle for in an urban area or rural? How much do they care about their public image? Where is this geographically? How much funding do they have? What are their general department policies?
(Example: ECPD doesn’t use ram bars/push bars because of past lawsuits and their strict pursuit policy that basically says they can’t do chases)
Then I just kinda build. I usually will make a fuselage piece that matches the size and position and angle of the main body, and then make it like 0.05 bigger. I’ll use fuselage slicing to angle it how I need it.
Really it’s just a lot of trial and error and being flexible to change the plan halfway through.
Feel free to ask more questions so I can make my answers more direct.
@WisconsinStatePolice hey, i really want to know how you make liveries, because all of them are so well done, show me your secrets...
@WisconsinStatePolice ok thanks
@dabestsock
I haven’t uploaded it yet, but you can modify it as you wish.
I believe headlights are attached to Activation group 1.
Groups 2 and 3 are turn signals.
Group 4 should be the emergency lighting.
