Brief Information
The PoiyaYudatsi (now under Poyasakai) F.5 is a single-engine high subsonic swept-wing carrier-based fighter aircraft.
Initially, to be the replacement of older naval fighter aircraft, she is Karya's main frontline naval fleet defense interceptor until the time where new fighter aircraft entered service. She can fight alongside other fleet defense interceptors and can hone strike capabilities in newer variants, but mostly in every mission - she was used as an interceptor/dogfighter.
She is known to be the first post-First Phase swept-wing single-engine fighter to be powered by an axicentrifugal flow engine, where at this point axial flow engines were becoming common on newer fighters,
As she entered service, she was known as the Type 5 Carrier Fighter. Navy pilots call her Pyat' hence the first two letters were an acronym for the manufacturer (PY - Poiya-Yudatsi). She served in the Second Phase and early Third Phase of the Late Crusades (ranging from Vietnam War to Cold War era) and gained praise for her versatility in terms of interception against bombers. She may not be a good dogfighter, but she can be capable of strafing targets on ground with two 23mm autocannons with optional HE rounds. Another known service for Yuudachi is where Saint Liebling Petrovich (a Fabellan Navy pilot ace) served the Karyan Union Navy and fought with her squadron VF-16, gaining the title "Solo Wing Dushka".
As her service years pass until 1988, she received upgrades after being designated as F.5 for modernization with a newer engine. She was fully retired by 1989, as newer technologies come into way. Yuudachi has been renowned for her service years mainly to intercept enemy fighters, but can be donned for light strike usage to assist strike fighters in the later years.
Development
After the First Phase of the Late Crusades, the Odraseans sent a requirement to Poyasakai's Fabella Division known as PoiyaYudatsi for a subsonic fleet defense interceptor. This was to outlast Baphometia's first-generation carrier-borne fighter aircraft in terms of every characteristic the designers would pinpoint on. Such designs supplied to create the new project were most likely straight-wing fighters, but when swept-wing configurations were introduced, PoiyaYudatsi most likely chose the configuration.
Now, engines were a problem, where at Fabella's stock, almost all aircraft were made to be powered by centrifugal flow turbojets. Poyasakai and their aircraft engine division asked Malcolm Corporation to derive their Theous VK-1-based engine. As Malcolm approved, Poyasakai developed an axial compressor to be integrated to the Theous engine, thus developing the Antheon engine. The Antheon was chosen for PoiyaYudatsi's project after tests were done, despite the problems being trialed for fixing.
The airframe was then evaluated for development - A low wing swept-wing fighter aircraft deemed to reach high subsonic speeds. When the development of the airframe began, extensive evaluations were carried out. Karya's Poyasakai lent help to make the airframe stronger, and other tests were being carried out also by the Odraseans.
Test flight has started in 1951, all checks were deemed perfect and had only few flaws to run through. At the latter, flaws were being fixed and configuration tweaks were being done to improve flight time. All requirements were being successfully met and the first Type 5 fighter to enter into service is the first production variant, the Type 5A1. The Karyan Union Navy Air Service were the first to get the Type 5s before Fabella and Odrasea.

The F.5 is modeled after the McDonnell F3H Demon, with a different design on some areas. She is a low-wing conventional configuration monoplane with the tricycle landing gear. Different from the F3H was a three-piece canopy with a sliding door, and has conventional folding wings not like the F3H's. Overall, she is basically the Demon of the Termacaelan lore.

In a span from high subsonic speeds to low altitude strafing speeds, the wings were tapered from the tip of its wing, and larger roll control surfaces were being used for faster banks and turns, yet incorporating good output to all missions.

The front gear can be extended for more lift in takeoffs. It should be retracted upon landing to prevent damage, as recommended.
Avionics
Kariosat STR-12 pulse doppler radar
A mechanically scanned PD radar has been implemented for Yuudachi, only to track bombers for an interception. The STR-12 could only detect up to 11km of range and should be compatible with the weapons supplied to her. The avionics suite was only intended as well only for interception roles.
Powerplant
Poyasakai-Malcolm Antheon Mk.3S-100 axicentrifugal flow turbojet
Yuudachi is powered by a single VK-1 based Antheon Mk.3S-100 engine, an improved derivative to the Theous centrifugal-flow engine. She can deliver a powerful thrust ratio yet can still perform well in subsonic speeds. It was also the world's first axicentrifugal jet engine in Termacael timeline, and was underrated due to the frequent existence of axial flow engines.
Weaponry

Yuudachi can store up to six hardpoints - not too much on weight though. She is only desired for interception roles, mostly to be armed with AAMs such as the SM-20 Knievel and the AAM-159.
The Gaurav Ga-23-2 23mm autocannon is an improvement over the first iteration. She gets an improved reloading chamber yet still keeping fire rate and characteristics.

A medium-range radar-guided interception missile used against bombers, but not smaller aircraft, and is not capable of dogfighting.

Short Lore
Liebling was an ace during her early years in the Royal Fabellan Navy with her Bragaut F.5 Mogami carrier-borne fighter, known by her callsign "Dushka", meaning "Darling".
She served in the San Lorenzo Ruiz carrier wing attacking Baphometian fighter-bombers, protecting the carrier fleet, and strafing against ships before the sinking of their fleet carrier by Baphometians.

When she transferred to the Karyan Union Navy, she achieved experience for jet fighters, the first moment she flew was the Type 5 fighter, which was later known as the F.5B, to compliment the Bragaut F.5 as the legacy successor to Liebling's aircraft in RFNAS service. She was assigned to the 16th squadron (VF-16) and was second in membership.
A distinctive feature for Liebling's Yuudachi is the outboard wing painted in red, meaning "honor and valor in times of waging evil", signifying her battle years during RFN service.
She successfully carried out 40 interception kills and 8 dogfights against Satanist forces as the Fabellans helped her as well, even with her squadron. She is also the first Fabellan pilot to land a Karyan aircraft to HMFS Pedro Calungsod (the carrier class where HMFS San Lorenzo Ruiz sank).
She retired by 1970 and became a rear admiral and a nun by her old age, before the apparition where Saint Beatrice appeared to her (Blessed Beatrice at that time, Liebling called her Beato). She was Liebling's partner before martyrdom, and was considered "Rokkenjima's Fighting Seagull".
Before Liebling's death, she went through her last flight with the VFA-12's (VF-16 at the older times) MRF.35C (F-29) Kaga, piloted by Blessed Larry Foulke before his martyrdom.

She died in 1990, was beatified in December 2, 2006, and canonized by November 19, 2020, and declared as Patron Saint of Navy Ace Pilots. Her shrine was at Rokkenjima Cathedral, where Saint Beatrice, Blessed Larry Foulke, and Our Lady of Guidance (Nuestra Señora de Guia) were venerated.

Controls and Instructions
SP controls as usual, and there be rules.
Take-off
Activate AG1 to extend piston in front. Throttle to 100% full afterburner, rotate and climb as you gain speed and lift. Flaps should be be used (VTOL down).
Landing
Landing speed ranges from 200/100kmh. Deploy flaps, activate AG4 for gyro leveling, use airbrakes, and slow down at the runway while keeping your brakes activated (disable AG4 for better result). This goes same for carrier landings, AG3 to deploy arrestor hook and take an approach carefully.

Trivia:
Dushka and Liebling are Russian and German words for "Darling" which Quackie gave, even the 002 squad member code. Somehow it may relate to Darling in the Franxx, where Zero Two considered Hiro as "Darling".
The tail art is from the wings of the Beast in the book "Beast and the Prince".
She is inspired by the F3H Demon, thus being designated Ayanami at first, but I decided to redesignate her Yuudachi as PoiyaYudatsi's main frontline interceptor.

@PxVector An improvement for Yuudachi, sure.
This plane is really cool. Only thing is mid-air refueling, afterburners, and guided missiles were all hallmarks of second generation jet fighters. Goose the afterburner power a little to get you over Mach 1 and you could very easily enter it in the second generation challenge.
