Yooo it's gunboat but smaller!

HISTORY

SRN Goofie was one of 12 Moed-Class Rendel Gunboats built for the Royal Scharnian Navy,
She was laid down in 1875 and launched in 1877 and entered service the following year. Armed with only a single non-traversable muzzle-loading cannon, She had a pretty uneventful career until she was decommissioned and put up for sale in 1892.

The following year, Goofie was bought by the Atjeh Sultanate and was renamed "Ofke", She finally saw action during the Atjeh invasion of Mitfordia in 1908 primarily used for coastal bombardment. and in 1919, She was decommissioned and mothballed.

but in 1921, Ofke (Goofie) was sold to the Republic of Slatovia and was renamed "Kachka". She was drastically modernized, her superstructure was rebuilt and her old cannon was replaced with a much more modern 15cm cannon. Kachka was mostly used as a patrol ship for most of her career in the Slatovian navy... A very uneventful one.

Kachka was transferred to the Sakoyan Islands in 1932 as part of an agreement and she was renamed back to her original name Goofie and resumed her usual coastal patrols in the Sakoyan islands. In 1940, Goofie took part in the battle of Jorgensborg during the Suidatian invasion of the Sakoyan Islands, she along with support from coastal batteries managed to sink a Suidatian cruiser and damage 2 destroyers. the enemy fleet retreated and the Sakøoyans emerged victorious.

After the war with Suidatia ended in 1942, Goofie was decommissioned and sold to a civilian shipping company where she was converted into a ferry transporting both passengers and cargo until she was abandoned and left to rot after the company went bankrupt in 1993.

In 2001, Goofie's rusty hull was purchased by a non-profit organization where she was restored back to the way she was originally built. Today, Goofie is now a museum ship Moored near the Sakoyan parliament building in the capital of Jorgensborg.
