@Scrugy51 Probably a good call.
At least then it'll probably fly properly, unlike my glorified museum exhibit made of carboard.
@Graingy if your Mac/steam starts working again could you possibly post it for me to see what you were thinking of making it into. Only if you're up to it though
@Graingy You have correct. I guess I will just have to make a new plane. Hmmm.....
@Scrugy51 Oh I haven't touched that in ages.
The cockpit sight isn't (wasn't, as it's sadly basically a past-tense) properly finished.
It has no missile sight.
It has no properly installed missiles.
The Landing gear clips through when either opening or closing (can't remember which). Really nothing I could do to fix that without learning Funkytrees, I believe. That, or somewhat serious structural modifications.
The landing gear is lankly and horribly balanced. (Needs fix)
It flies like a brick and is horribly slow. (Really needs fix)
The tail hasn't been given any fuselage covering.
...
I wrote a long thing here originally, but it got a bit too existential for silly plane game so I'm simplifying:
I fear you aren't up to the task of fixing it, judging from the thumbnails of your other creations. It's not a super complex creation, but for my standards it is and I am personally under the honest belief that my skill at creating still sits overall above yours, even if my development has entirely stagnated while yours continues at a rapid pace.
I wish to stress that I don't want to put you down, but I really just want to... idk lower expectations? That sounds harsher than I intend, but...
Okay, realllly blunt:
I don't think you're currently skilled enough to make it look good.
Mean? Yes.
What I'd, truth be told, expect? Also yes.
I couldn't find the will to complete it, but I lacked the skills to fix it.
You'd probably have the will to complete it, but would also lack the skills to fix it.
...
Annd I'm getting existential again. Prove me wrong damnit I want you to!!
... If... I can actually upload it...
So much right now do I want to be proven a jackass who thinks too highly of themselves

TL;DR: It's a mess, I fear you might not be up to the task of completing it, and my Mac/Steam wasn't opening the website properly so I probably can't even upload it anyways.
@Graingy Yo, what about that whole remake of this plane. Can you give me an unlisted version? Maybe I could fix it up and post it with credits to you? Just a thought...
@Scrugy51 Because I'm a cool guy and that's how I do.... Lol...😺 Z ;)
@zaineman why?...
Why All the upvotes?
@Scrugy51 Haven't gotten around to it yet. Will try to remember if I find time, certainly.
Also, wow! A lot of people seem to like this thing! Totally not jealous...
Also also, the rebuild I mentioned has kinda stalled (pun not intended).
Game pissed me off with its BS problems without clear solutions, and I got a bit distracted and lost momentum. If it ends up being totally dead, I could possibly upload unlisted and tag you, but I don't want to jump to that too quickly.
@Graingy did you take a look at my new fuselage planes?
For a begineer level builder, i have to say that this is looks good
@Scrugy51 Aight, thank you!
With any luck I won't get too sidetracked (though me playing SP is already a sidetrack in and of itself). I've interpreted it as a ~1950/60s era 2 seat fighter-type craft.
@Graingy btw your planes are very nice . I especially love the g-dasher
@Graingy I started playing simpleplanes on new years eve and the plane took about an hour of finicking. You can use the plane all you want I don't plan to improve on it but if you are publishing it let me know in this comments section because I would like to see for myself.
Okay, I downloaded it and now I have 3 questions (and a suggestion, though it's a minor one):
1: When did you start playing SimplePlanes? I myself started playing probably at least a year, probably more, before making this account. Thus why my first uploaded plane used fuselage (example from before that can be found as "T-27"). This is really good for a first flying plane, and I'm just kinda wondering how much finicking this took (because if it didn't take a lot, then wow I think your SP future is bright).
2: Does this craft have a name (or any other information, such as type/users/"canonical" size)?I ask this because:
3: I was wondering if you'd let me make my own version of this. I'm no master builder, but I really like the aesthetic and wanted to try my hand at remaking this with fuselage. I wouldn't be able to promise that it'd actually come out, or that I wouldn't give up on it like my hundred other "WIP" things I have, but I felt that I should ask in case you're planning to rebuild it yourself later and I wouldn't want to risk stealing your idea.
Suggestion; maybe make the ailerons wider and not as... deep? thick? as I think it'd look a bit more natural
I really like this thing!
Admittedly, I haven't downloaded (I saw it, and am, using my laptop, which doesn't have the game downloaded), and it would be nice if there were more screenshots taken, but for a block-built plane it definitely has a nice aesthetic. I especially like the wing shape.
Visually, it's a well-rounded craft.
Maybe a slight loss in style points from that wide-base thing it has going (I assume that the engines are hidden behind there), but a bit of adjustment and I think it could work quite well. After all, there have been real aircraft with similar structures.
Again, sorry that I haven't actually tried it, but this site is basically my only social media account and thus is what I browse in my free time. This craft happened to be quite eye-catching.
I can very easily imagine this thing being rebuilt using fuselage and looking absolutely awesome!
@Graingy really?
@Graingy
indeed
It looks nice
