Main description
The Convair XC/PFB-20 was a design study for a competition for the U.S Air Force with competitors such as Boeing, Lockheed, and Douglas. This proposal was to make a large passenger/cargo seaplane that was serviced incase of emergencies that an airbase is destroyed. However this contract ended up being cancelled for all competitors, due to all the design studies being too large, and too expensive. It is also obsolete by the time.
