Cruiser C-23
Ah, yes. The old cousin of the Cruiser C-22.
All they did was be lazy and strap bombs and add a tailgunner to the plane.
And with a little bit of tweaking resulted into this monstrosity of an airplane.
The Cruiser C-23 was a bomber variant of the C-22 capable of having up to 8 bombs, enough to destroy a lot of things all at once.
The origins of the C-23 began back when the Wright Isles were advancing towards Krakabloa and quickly needed a light bomber capable of defending itself to destroy its targets. After a bit of fiddling, they decided to take the frame of the C-22 and transform it into a potentially good bomber.
The C-23 ended up having a 720 hp engine to overcome the issues of taking off the ground and climbing at the cost of higher fuel consumption but the company didnt really care since Krakabloa was not that far away from the Wright Isles.
The C-23 ended up being successful due to how little casualties had gone due to the addition of the tailgunner, having defended the aircraft from many interceptors.
