Lore

In 1997, Valskor (which are basically just Belgium) wanted a reliable Anti-air defense system. So, project C.A.T Is funded. They tasked two companies to do the job, which are Mordekva and Polastor.

Mordekva uses an already existing Azov family of trucks, so they use the flatbed variant as a base and starts from there. And this, the Turmoil-R1 was born!

So who win the C.A.T project? Well, the answer is obvious. Turmoil-R1 won the competition leaving Polastor to continues making rally cars and off-road trucks.

Turmoil-R1a2 is the second variant of the Turmoil-R1 (developed in 2002), which includes 6 missile launcher to shoot down incoming aircraft. And also included a brand new smoke launcher on the truck, to hide itself from the enemy (but in the game it's flares lol)
