When the germans began to form a threat to the dutch, the government of the Netherlands decided to upgrade their airforce, which consisted of WW1 fighter that were old and stored in a museum. 20 KLM planes were converted to epic torpedo bombers. Sadly, these weren’t very useful on land, were the battles took place. The Greta’s were never used.
