Designed in 2009 and named after Captain William Raden (1901-1985), the William Raden Class was originally desgined as a littoral patrol vessel and Shipping protection, the William Raden Class was redesigned in 2012 to fufill a carrier escort task, although apart of merchant and green water operations, the William raden is the first Acean Ship built to feature a complete integrated sensor array from the ground up, currently 15 are built with 10 more planned to fully phase out the tomcat and Quentin W Holland class. Ag 1+Vtol/trim for Main gun, Ag 2+ pitch and Roll CIWS and SeaRAM. features 8x VLS, 8x LASM-9 AShMs in harpoon style mounts, and 2 torpedos for anti submarine roles in the aft.
