Developed in 1945, this monstrous design was based on the German Tiger VIB, of which the Japanese had gotten blueprints. It was decided that it lacked in armanent and protection, and therefore the decision was made to uparmor it, and upgun it. This meant that it got a lot bigger, but it wasn't an issue since it had far better engines than the predecessor. This, of course cause problem regarsing infrastructure, but it was seen as unimportant, as a counter to the newly introduced IS-3 was needed for the Japanese offensive.
